Jersey Festive Scenes - 84p Sheet of Ten
£8.40
The 84p stamp portrays Liberation Square and Christmas trees. Liberation Square in Jersey's capital, St. Helier, was named in 1995 to commemorate fifty years since the end of German Occupation. At the centre of the square is Philip Jackson's Liberation Sculpture, which depicts a group of people holding the Union Flag. Christmastime sees the square bustling with Christmas markets and adorned with Christmas trees.
The stamp sheets give the discerning collector access to all the printer's marks and any additional information on the selvedges.
