Formula One is the highest class of international auto racing for single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile. Originally called Formula A, the first race to approved Formula One rules was a Grand Prix race held at Valentino Park, Turin, Italy, in 1946. In celebration of the Formula One World Championships, Jersey Stamps have issued a total of 10 stamps, over a two-part series featuring ten of the top British Formula One World Champions. Also available: premium art prints and a 48 page coffee table book featuring the 19 illustrations produced for the series.
