British Grand Prix 100 Years

Jersey Post is proud to announce the release of British Grand Prix 100th Anniversary, a commemorative stamp issue celebrating a century of one of the world's most prestigious and enduring motorsport events.

Marking 100 years since the first official British Grand Prix which was held at Brooklands in 1926, the eight-stamp set highlights some of the defining moments, personalities and traditions that have shaped the race's remarkable legacy.

From pioneering circuits and historic royal attendance to legendary rivalries, unforgettable victories and passionate fan celebrations, the collection captures the spirit of an event that has become a cornerstone of international motorsport.

The stamps feature illustrations by British artist Ben Tallon, whose bold, vibrant and highly detailed style reflects the speed, energy and spectacle synonymous with Formula One racing. Through his distinctive artwork, key chapters in British Grand Prix history are vividly brought to life.

Spanning a century of competition, the issue explores the evolution of the race from its origins at the Brooklands motor circuit to its modern home at Silverstone, one of the most iconic venues in world motorsport.

The issue’s full philatelic range can be purchased at Jersey Post’s Headquarters at Rue des Pres and within the philatelic section in Broad Street’s Post Office. You can also purchase the set by visiting www.jerseystamps.com or calling the Jersey Stamps team on 01534 616 717.
