Withdraw EU Policy

1. Right to Withdraw (EU Customers)

If you are a consumer based in the EU/EEA, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

  • The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you receive your order.
  • To exercise your right, you must inform us of your decision using a clear statement in an email, phone call or letter to Jersey Post Philatelic Bureau.

Please use the below example, when requesting your withdrawal.

2. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract:

  • We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs.
  • Reimbursement will be made within 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
  • We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or evidence of return.

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

3. Returning Goods

You must send back the goods:

  • Within 14 days from notifying us of withdrawal
  • To: Jersey Philatelic Bureau, Postal Headquarters, St Saviour, Jersey, JE1 1AA

You are responsible for:

  • The cost of returning the goods
  • Ensuring items are securely packaged (stamps should be protected from bending, moisture, or damage)

4. Condition of Goods

You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right to withdraw may not apply to:

  • Personalised or customised stamp products
  • Goods sealed for protection or collectible integrity that have been unsealed after delivery (where applicable)
  • Items that are liable to deteriorate or change rapidly in market value (e.g., certain philatelic collectibles where clearly stated at purchase)

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Please notify us within 2 business days of delivery
  • Provide photographs where possible

We will:

  • Offer a replacement (subject to stock availability), or
  • Provide a full refund, including return postage costs
