Celebrating Summer in Jersey
July 10, 2026
A vibrant new stamp issue, Celebrating Summer in Jersey, is available from Friday 17 July 2026, showcasing the island at its most colourful and inviting.
Created by local artist Lauren Radley, the collection features six beautifully illustrated scenes that capture the essence of a Jersey summer. The designs echo tourism posters of the past and capture the charm of summers in Jersey. A striking fuchsia pink unifies both the stamp designs and the first day cover postmark, lending the issue a distinctive sense of warmth and energy.
Often promoted as the sunniest place in the British Isles, thanks to its southerly location and sheltered position in the Bay of St Malo, Jersey comes into its own in June, July, and August. Summer on the island is defined by long bright days. From surfing in St Ouen to exploring Mont Orgueil Castle the summer is a perfect time to enjoy various activities, including those depicted in the stamp set.
With accompanying products including two first day covers and two presentation packs, the issue not only complements the stamp set beautifully but also adds informative detail to the experiences and locations that define a Jersey summer.
The issue’s full product range can be purchased at Jersey Post’s Headquarters at Rue des Pres and within the philatelic section in Broad Street’s Post Office. You can also purchase the set by visiting www.jerseystamps.com or calling the Jersey Stamps team on 01534 616 717.
