September 19, 2025

The Jersey Post stamp issue HRH The Princess Royal’s 75th Birthday celebrates 75 years of Princess Anne and her dedication to the public. The second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, the Princess Royal is King Charles II only sister and the seventh monarch to hold the title of Princess Royal.
Her Royal Highness is involved with over 399 charities, organisations and military regiments in the UK and overseas and has visited Jersey 23 times in the line of duty to island and the local charities for which she is Patron or a supporter.
The set of stamps highlight a variety of moments from Princess Anne’s visits to Jersey. As an accomplished equestrian, Princess Anne is president of Riding for the Disabled and attended Jersey's Riding for the Disabled event. In 1972 she became Patron of the Durrell Wildlife Trust and in 2010 presented the Army Cadet Force with berets to acknowledge completion of their basic training.
Also featured on the stamps is a tour of the Jersey Dairy site in Trinity, shortly after it opened as well as the opening of Les Quennevais Secondary School in 2021. The set’s final image shows the Princess attending the unveiling of the King's Arch at the entrance to Government House in St Saviour.
The issue is available to order online at www.jerseystamps.com and will be available for purchase at the Broad Street Post Office and Jersey Post’s headquarters in Rue Des Pres.
