Jersey Post celebrates the anniversary of the Royal Visit

July 9, 2025

Royal Visit 2024 stamp set of King Charles and Queen Camilla's visit to Jersey

To celebrate a year since Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited the island, Jersey Post has issued a set of six stamps entitled Royal Visit 2024, which are available from Tuesday 15th July 2025. Local photographers Max Burnett and Andy Le Gresley captured the Royal pair as they made their way through the town taking part in special ceremonies and greeting the crowds.

Jersey’s close ties to the British monarchy date back to 1204, when Jersey became a Crown dependency following the island’s allegiance to King John. This close connection to the Royal family was reaffirmed during Their Majesties visits in July 2024.

During the Royal Visit in 2024, Their Majesties were gifted with a framed selection of stamps from the issues The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III 2023 and 2024’s New Definitives: Crest of Jersey and His Majesty King Charles III.

The visit was a major historical moment for the island with the people of Jersey giving an enthusiastic welcome. You can browse the issue's full product range here
